That’s why the CPSU has negotiated a new workforce transition program to support Victorian Public Service workers who become displaced from their current role due to reprioritisation.

Under the new arrangements, VPS workers whose role is reprioritised are given first access to the Jobs and Skills exchange. Public sector employees will have more opportunities to maintain a role through access to; training to re-skill, and options to work in other departments or regional Victoria.
